Let the football begin....and bring on the appetizers.

Well, today is the day. That's right folks. Today is the day that my husband has been looking forward to since that dreadful day too long ago when football season ended. Today marks the day that we begin blocking off Saturday's due to Georgia football games and when we begin trying to figure out new strategies in getting people to generously give us game tickets ;) Technically, Blue's life won't fully change until Saturday at GA's kick-off (scratch that - it will probably change when his feet hit the floor after he wakes up due to the anticipation). I, on the other hand, am excited about a different aspect to game day. I am super pumped about finding yummy new appetizer recipes to try :) Here is one that I came across that I am going to try this weekend.....

Buffalo Chicken Dip

  • 8 oz. package of cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese salad dressing
  • 1/2 cup any flavor Frank's Red Hot Sauce
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese dressing
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken breast

(I am probably going to have to subsitute blue cheese for ranch and some other cheese due to Blue's taste buds)

Heat oven to 350

Place cream cheese into deep baking dish. Stir until smooth.

Mix in salad dressing, Frank's Red Hot Sauce and cheese.

Stir in chicken.

Bake 20 minutes or until mixture is heated through; stir.

Garnish as desired.

Serve with crackers or vegetables.
